Department of Chemistry was started in the year 2020.The Department of Chemistry is dedicated to advancing knowledge in the chemical sciences through high-quality teaching, innovative research, and community engagement. Our department provides students with a strong foundation in both theoretical principles and practical laboratory skills, preparing them for careers in academia, industry, and research.

To achieve excellence in postgraduate chemistry education and research by developing skilled scientists, innovators, and professionals who contribute to scientific advancement and societal development.

Chemistry Laboratory Facilities

The Department of Chemistry provides well-equipped laboratories designed to support practical learning, research, and innovation. Our laboratories offer students hands-on experience with modern instruments and safe laboratory practices, enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge in real experimental settings.

Laboratory Facilities Include

Undergraduate Laboratories – Spacious and well-equipped labs for organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry experiments.

Analytical Instrumentation Lab – Facilities with instruments such as UV-Visible Spectro photometer, pH meter, conductivity meter, and colori meter for analytical studies.

Organic Chemistry Laboratory – Dedicated space for synthesis, purification, and analysis of organic compounds.

Physical Chemistry Laboratory – Equipment for thermochemistry, electrochemistry, and kinetics experiments.

Research Laboratory – Advanced facilities to support faculty and student research projects.

Chemical Storage and Preparation Room – Safe storage and preparation of chemicals and reagents.

Safety Facilities – Fume hoods, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, eye wash stations, and proper waste disposal systems to ensure safe laboratory practices.
